1. Protocol-Level Privacy
The $WNR Protocol is built 100% on-chain on the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP). It does not collect, store, or process any personal data. There are no servers, no databases, and no third-party analytics services. Every interaction with the protocol is a direct, permissionless on-chain action.
2. Internet Identity
Authentication is handled exclusively via Internet Identity (II) — a biometric, self-sovereign identity system built on the Internet Computer. II generates a unique, anonymous Principal ID scoped to the $WNR domain. No email address, phone number, or personally identifiable information is ever created, stored, or transmitted.
3. Plug Wallet
The protocol supports connection via Plug Wallet as an alternative authentication mechanism. Plug Wallet operates independently and has its own privacy policy. The $WNR Protocol only reads your Principal ID and token balance from Plug — no other data is accessed.
4. On-Chain Data
All token transfers, burns, and airdrop records are permanently recorded on the Internet Computer blockchain. This data is public, immutable, and verifiable by anyone. By interacting with the $WNR Protocol, you acknowledge that your Principal ID and transaction amounts will be permanently recorded on-chain. No real-world identity is linked to a Principal ID.
5. No Cookies or Tracking
The $WNR frontend does not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or any form of user tracking. The only data persisted locally is your session state (via localStorage), which is used exclusively to restore your wallet connection on page reload and is never transmitted to any third party.
6. Third-Party Services
The protocol links to external services (ICPSwap, NNS Governance, X/Twitter). These services have their own privacy policies. The $WNR Protocol is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third-party service. All external links open in a new tab.
7. Sovereignty Principle
The fundamental design principle of the $WNR Protocol is digital sovereignty. You own your keys, you own your tokens, and you control your data. The protocol is designed so that no entity — including the protocol's contributors — can access, modify, or delete your on-chain data. Code is law.
8. Changes to This Policy
As a fully on-chain protocol, changes to the privacy policy are recorded on-chain and verifiable via the ICP Dashboard. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when this document was last revised.
For questions about on-chain data or protocol mechanics, all information is publicly verifiable on the ICP Dashboard using the canister IDs displayed in the footer. The $WNR Protocol operates fully on-chain and is governed by immutable smart-contract code.
